Dohlke was 19 when he became a flight engineer supporting the U.S. Army’s Special Forces. Dohlke recalls harrowing moments as his aircraft is targeted by the enemy fire. Dohlke also shares the emotional experience of his role in the “Hanoi Taxi” operation bringing American POWs back home from North Vietnam.
