Another summer storm hit parts of New Jersey over the weekend. Heavy rain and high winds snapped trees, damaged wires, and left more than 80,000 JCP&L customers without power Saturday evening. A 48-year old woman from New City, New York reportedly struck by lightning on Monmouth Beach died Sunday morning, according to the Asbury Park Press.
